Please ask our professional customer service. Packaging is made of different materials, such as glass, plastic, tin or cardboard or paper. Just like the product itself, materials place demands on the label. We offer suitable label materials and various adhesive options for all application areas. Our standard materials feature a permanent adhesive, but we also offer some of these materials in a version with special, washable adhesive. We also have some materials with an adhesive layer that makes the labels easily removable and even repositionable. In addition, we have scratch-resistant labels, durable labels and much more. Choosing self-adhesive labels: in rolls or sheets

Labels on rolls or prefer labels on sheets? The answer to this question depends on a number of factors:

• Processing: The first question is whether the labels will be processed manually or by machine: Sheets are not suitable for machine processing and can only be affixed by hand. Labels on rolls lend themselves ideally to processing with a labeling machine. For machine processing, it is important to specify the required winding direction and size the roll core when ordering, under the processing heading. Refer to your labeling machine’s instructions for this, and our wrap direction page. The number of labels per roll or the maximum diameter of the roll can also be specified during the ordering process.
• Number of labels. The print run can also determine the choice between sheets and labels on rolls: roll labels are ideal for producing larger quantities of labels, even if they are not applied by machine. For small runs, we basically recommend choosing label production on sheets, this will often be cheaper.
• Material selection. For labels on rolls, you can also choose from our wide range of standard materials as well as we have special materials in our program upon request. For sheet labels, on the other hand, only a limited number of materials are available.
• Finishes. It is not unimportant to mention that we also offer limited finishes for sheets. Hot foil and other special finishes such as personalization of individual labels are only possible with roll labels.
