One of the advantages of digital printing – multiple label varieties with the same shape, dimensions, finish and on the same material can all be printed together in one print run, helping you to keep things as cost-effective as possible. Self-adhesive labels on rolls or simply roll labels, are labels that require no extra adhesive and can be applied by simply removing the label from its backing and applying it to the desired surface, either by hand or with a machine.

We produce labels on rolls due to the simplicity and versatility this offers during both processing and application, for example when it comes to packing or bottling. They can be refined in many different ways and are therefore not just practical but also visually appealing.

Labels on sheets are often also called sheet labels. In this case, you do not receive your labels on a roll, but on sheets. This production type is ideal if you apply your labels manually to the product or packaging. Labels on sheets are not suitable for the automated labeling process, i.e. with a machine. In this case, we recommend adhesive labels on rolls.

This can be entirely up to you. If you have a desired number of labels per roll, simply let us know – it is also possible to specify this number when you order your labels online via the online calculator. If you are using a machine to apply your labels and need a particular maximum roll diameter, this can also be specified during the ordering process.

The glossy finish and vibrant colors of hot foil bring an extra level of quality to your labels, whether used for text, for your logo, to fill in an area, or for edging around images. We prepare a stamping tool custom-made for your label, so you can choose whatever design you like. The foil is applied to the paper using heat during the finishing process. Due to decades of experience with wine labels, we’re able to apply hot foils in-house, ensuring your labels look fantastic but remain cost-effective at the same time.

Our hot foils in silver and gold are the most standard options but you can also get hot foils in a large variety of different colors. Need a very specific foil? No problem! If we don’t have them in stock yet, we can get them quickly and use them for your printing job. Just contact us if you’re looking for a particular hot foil.

Want to know exactly what your labels will look like when they come out of production? We recommend a proof printing. We can then also use this for color matching during production. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Why do the colors on printed matter look different from those on the screen? A common problem is the non-colorfast display on a screen. Screens operate in what is known as RGB color mode and display colors differently (brighter) than printed matter. Printed matter is based on the CMYK color model (cyan, magenta, yellow and black). During the digital conversion to the other color model, the colors may differ from each other. You can prevent this problem by having your print files delivered by a graphics specialist and only using CMYK colors in the file. Read more about color systems in our blog post.

By default, all orders placed on unieketiket.nl are digitally printed in four-color printing (CMYK). Read more about the color systems in our blog post.

We can simulate Pantone® colors of type C (for coated/glossy material) and type U (for matte material) with CMYK printing. Depending on the desired color, it is also possible to order the added colors orange, violet and green to get as close as possible to the desired color. Please contact us for more information.

Please note that there is often no exact match and that not all colors can be simulated in digital printing (such as metallic shades or neon colors).

For standard production and standard delivery, we deliver within 8 working days. However, delivery times depend on the type of labels, the number of finishes selected and the number of orders. You can see when you can expect your labels during the ordering process using the calculator. If you need the labels sooner than 8 days, please use the express production service.

The express production is completed within 24 or 48 hours. We can only produce quickly if all the materials required for production (cutting die, embossing stamp, etc.) are already available. Furthermore, we are unfortunately unable to offer expedited delivery for print runs exceeding 20,000 items.

You can pay for your order using PayPal, iDEAL, Bancontact, prepayment by bank transfer, credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or invoice. In principle, we only deliver on account if we have a long-standing relationship with you and there are repeat orders. In some cases, we reserve the right to ask you for a deposit.

Orders are shipped free of charge to countries within the EU using UPS Standard. Additional charges apply for express deliveries. The additional charges depend on the quantity of labels, the weight and the country of destination.

Your items will be securely packaged and delivered via UPS Standard shipping. Express delivery is available upon request. Express delivery incurs additional costs. Standard shipping within the EU is free of charge.

Yes. You can enter and edit alternative delivery addresses in the »my unieketiket.nl« area once you’re logged into your account.

Cancellations can be made by telephone or email. Cancellation is only possible if the job has not yet been passed to production.

If, despite our high quality standards, you notice any deficiencies in production, please contact us and we will take care of your concern.

Please send us an e-mail at info@unieketiket.nl, quoting the relevant order/delivery note or invoice number, and describe your concern – please include picture or video material showing the reason for the complaint.

We prioritize any issue you are facing. Our team will work actively on resolving it and will get in touch with you as soon as possible. If the cause cannot be identified by e-mail and on the basis of the photos and videos sent, we must inspect the goods here on site so that we can clarify the cause and have a chance of a detailed investigation and, if necessary, rectification. Please understand that we cannot refund the labels without having first checked the case through our quality control. You are welcome to return the rejected labels to us free of charge for disposal. If you have particular requirements which cannot be specified within our online calculator then please do get in touch with us to discuss these. Whilst the online calculator offers the fastest option for you, we are of course happy to talk through orders with you on the phone or via email.

As a professional label manufacturer, we are primarily focused on supplying companies. Accordingly, the pricing of our label production is only really interesting for larger print runs. Nevertheless, private customers can also order small print runs from us. So no, there is no minimum value for an order, but for smaller runs you have to reckon with correspondingly high costs.

We work exclusively with graphic data formats, so it is not possible to send Microsoft Word files. Suitable formats are PDF, EPS, TIF or JPG. More information about this can be found on the page about submitting print files.

Professional print files that meet our requirements can be created using programmes such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign or ArtPro. Read our data instructions or book our print file service.

The print files are only checked if data check has been selected as an additional option. The file check only relates to suitability for printing and does not check for spelling mistakes or errors in content.

Using natural resources sustainably is something we do as a matter of course. We organise our production methods to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We produce printing plates without the use of chemicals, use the latest technology to reduce waste and purchase energy from renewable sources supplied by regional suppliers. Most of our materials are FSC-certified. In addition, we are expanding our materials portfolio to include sustainable materials, such as our Grass paper.
