Hot foil labels are of particularly high quality. The foil is applied to the paper using a custom-made tool and heat. In this way, the outline of an image, text or a specific area can be enhanced, making your labels a real eye-catcher. The result is eye-catching hot foil labels. Many printers cannot produce this type of label, but for us they are an absolute standard.

Blind embossing makes it possible to highlight certain areas of the label without the use of foil, creating a visible and palpable deformation. It is ideal for highlighting letters, logos or even more abstract shapes with a unique effect to the touch and sight. At etiqueta.es we specialize in embossing for high quality labels. This classic finishing technique, also known as dry embossing, generates an elegant play of light and shadow thanks to the difference in height, adding a sophisticated touch to your labels.

Embossing is a combination of blind embossing and hot foil stamping. The foil deformation gives the professionally printed label a special added value.

Embossing is the queen of finishing. In several post-processing steps, the different levels are highlighted. This creates an exciting 3D effect and a high-quality look and feel. Here we explain step by step how to apply hot foil stamping correctly to a label. The tutorial shows hot foil stamping in gold as an example. Of course, hot foil stamping can also be done in other colors:

Protection against abrasion thanks to the protective varnish! This varnish can be applied to the labels after the printing process.

The clear varnish adheres to the label as a protective layer. Afterwards, the labels are more resistant. In addition, the labels have a glossier appearance. We offer the protective varnish in matte or glossy.

Do your labels need special protection or an eye-catching shine? This is where lamination comes in. Labels are coated with a very thin but tough film. Compared to normal protective varnish, lamination – whether glossy or matte – is a bit thicker and more durable.

An extra dose of shine! The clear varnish is applied digitally and visually enhances specific areas of the label to give them a special touch. The digital spot varnish is applied without the need for tools, thanks to a special machine – this not only saves costs, but also time and resources!
