What are wet glue labels?

Paper labels that must be glued before application are called wet glue labels or also glue-on labels in the label world. This means that they are not self-adhesive. Therefore, they require a separate label glue or label adhesive, which is applied to the paper during machine labeling.

What are the advantages of wet glue labels?

What are the differences between wet glue labels (adhesive labels) and self-adhesive labels on rolls? In contrast to self-adhesive labels on rolls, wet glue labels must be glued – this must of course be taken into account when using them. The wet glue label is a real classic and is particularly interesting when larger quantities are involved. Applied using a wet glue labeling machine, even large quantities of bottles, cans and canned food can be quickly labeled.
