Different adhesives for different applications
Label requirements can vary by industry and product. Not only the right material is crucial, but also the adhesive. At unieketiket.nl, you can choose from different types of adhesive: permanent adhesive, extra strong adhesive, removable adhesives or labels with adhesive for special conditions such as use in the freezer. For every application and every product, unieketiket.nl offers the right adhesive. For your information: most of our materials in the calculator are permanently adhesive by standard. Of course, you can get many other materials on request – feel free to contact us, and we will advise you on our label materials and adhesives to suit your application and product. Please note: Not every adhesive is available with every material. Special adhesives are only available in combination with one or a few materials.

Note: If you store your labels correctly – i.e. in a dry place and protected from strong UV light – the adhesive will retain its adhesive strength for approximately one year. Please note that the adhesive strength of the glue decreases as the storage time increases. Therefore, the labels should be processed as soon as possible after you receive them.
The following adhesives are available from unieketiket.nl:
Standard, permanent adhesive
- permanent, universal adhesive
- processing temperature: -20°C to +80°C
- excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and surfaces
- suitable for almost any industry and product
- available for different paper types and films
- standard on all materials in the calculator (unless otherwise stated)
Washable glue in lye bath (WW materials)
- label can be soaked from the product with a lye bath (special soap)
- operating temperature: 0°C to +50°C
- ideal for labeling beverage and deposit bottles
Note: The removability depends on factors such as the amount of ink, foil embossing and protective varnish and the method of storage of the empty bottles (do not expose to weather), therefore we cannot guarantee the removability. Water soluble glue
- special ‘wash-off’ adhesive
- removable with water (temperature 65°C-80°C)
- processing temperature: -20°C to +60°C
- ideal for deposit and beverage bottles
- materials with wash-off adhesives
- PP film (transparent)
- PET film
Plus glue: various applications
Plus papers: special material-glue combination for:
- wet conditions, such as ice buckets
- thicker material: prevents wrinkles and bubbles when machine-applied to bottles
- allows to punch out the shape and remove all the surrounding paper during the production of labels with a complex shape

Extra strong adhesive
- particularly strong adhesive universal adhesive
- processing temperature: -20°C to +80°C
- ideal for small or narrow bottles and jars (with a strong curve)
- material with strong glue
Removable adhesive with no residue
- removable universal adhesive
- processing temperature: -20°C to +80°C
- can be removed and repositioned from the substrate without leaving residue, even after extended periods of time
Materials with easily removable adhesive:
- PP film glossy white
- paper white 80g, removable (FSC® Mix Credit) (semi-gloss paper)
- textured natural paper cream-white 90g, removable (FSC® Mix Credit)
Freezer glue
- strong, permanent adhesive for all purposes
- application temperature: -40°C to +60°C
- can be applied to already frozen products.
- ideal for cold environments, wet surface labeling and freezer applications
