The future
In recent years, we have further streamlined our operations by combining our Dutch and European financial teams. unieketiket.nl is now registered as a German company in Germany. These changes have also affected the way we prepare invoices and account for VAT.
How does unieketiket.nl charge VAT?
How unieketiket.nl charges VAT to you as a customer depends on several factors. Here’s our quick guide to help answer questions about how VAT is charged to your business. We’ve also prepared a clear table for additional insight:

VAT-registered company in the Netherlands, Belgium or another EU country (except Germany)
- Shipping to the billing address: 0% VAT is charged.
- Note: VAT is actually transferred to the country to which it is delivered.
VAT-registered company in the Netherlands, Belgium or another EU country (except Germany); shipping to a third party:
- If the delivery address is in NL, EU or anywhere in the world, 0% VAT is charged.
- Note: Within the EU, VAT is actually transferred to the country to which it is delivered.
Dutch, Belgian company, or company from another EU country, but not VAT-registered:
- The applied VAT is 19% (VAT rate Germany).
International (non-EU) company, shipping to the Netherlands or Belgium or other EU country:
- If you do not have a VAT number from the EU country to which the delivery is going, 19% VAT will be applied.
International (non-EU) company, shipping outside the EU
ls your company is registered outside the EU and the goods are delivered outside the EU, then 0% VAT is charged.
Will my order be delayed due to the changes?
No, there are no changes to the existing ordering process, so there will be no delays.
Can I get back the VAT I paid?
If you are a business registered with the tax authorities and you have a valid VAT number, you can reclaim any VAT paid.
If you are not VAT-registered with the tax authorities, then you cannot get the VAT back (in most cases). Consult your tax authority if necessary.

Can I pay by invoice?
Basically, there are several payment options. We are an online business where payment is basically direct or in advance. This is also what our pricing is based on. You can request to pay by invoice after your 3rd order with us. Please contact customer service to make a request. In our decision whether or not to grant invoice payment, we will base our decision in part on the outcome of a credit check.
I deposited into the wrong bank account. What now?
Ask our customer service team if the finance team can track the money. Otherwise, ask your bank to try to recover the money.
