Noush|Cha

The story

Noush|Cha is an exclusive high-end kombucha brewery in the heart of Maastricht. The name “Noushin” is Persian and means “sweet” or “delectable.” The verb “Noush” means “Santé” or “Cheers to a delicious drink.” “Cha” is a common name for tea in Asian countries. Thus, the brand name Noush|Cha symbolizes the celebration of a delicious tea experience. The story began in March 2021, during the pandemic, when founder Noushin first started brewing her favorite fizzy beverage at home. As an expat who has lived in different parts of the world, she discovered that there was a lack of high-quality kombucha in the Netherlands. This formed the basis for her venture. What began as a hobby grew into a craft brewery, which four years later is still passionately run in Maastricht. Noush|Cha is now served in the most popular cafes and restaurants in the city and surrounding regions, as well as at exclusive events and special occasions.

In 2024, Noush|Cha gained wide recognition within the gastronomic and Michelin worlds thanks to the introduction of a champagne bottle variant. The unique taste of kombucha comes from the traditional brewing method, where the product remains raw and unfiltered. The combination of exotic teas, such as Guayusa tea from Ecuador and Pu Erh tea from China, along with high-quality ingredients and professional mixology, creates a sophisticated and distinctive taste experience.

Design

My background in design and vision for branding Noush|Cha formed the basis for this process. The label plays a crucial role in reflecting our story and exclusivity. We deliberately chose a minimalist and modern logo for small bottles and an elegant look for champagne bottles. Together with talented designers, we worked each label to perfection. The designs are the result of a creative collaboration in which craftsmanship and aesthetics come together.

Material

Sustainability has been at the heart of Noush|Cha from day one. This is why we avoid plastic materials and are committed to recycling and upcycling our bottles. unieketiket.nl has provided us with excellent support in this by offering sustainable labels that are in line with our mission. Our labels are finished with matte laminate, while our exclusive champagne line features luxurious hot foil accents that add to the elegance of our bottles.
