Plus labels materials – suitable for ice buckets

When choosing a label material, not only appearance is important; functional aspects such as the adhesive strength of a material can also be important. Depending on the industry or application, a label may also have to meet special requirements, such as resistance to moisture or oil, or reliable adhesion even at low temperatures. We at unieketiket.nl have the ideal solutions for these and other special requirements.

When bottles are presented in an ice bucket the label sometimes comes off the bottle because of the moisture that develops on the surface. Our Plus papers offer the solution to this problem. The special Plus materials have therefore been developed for labeling wine bottles and high-value products such as spirits, champagne and delicacies. Technically, the solution consists of a PET reinforcement between the adhesive layer and the top material. This minimizes the risk of creasing and improves performance in wet conditions. Plus materials are therefore ideal for champagne, wine, spirits and other products that are refrigerated or presented in ice buckets.
