Who are you and what makes you so special?
My name is Emelie and I work as a New Business Development Manager at unieketiket.nl. What I love about my work is the variety: one moment I’m working with spreadsheets, the next moment I’m being creative in design programs. I also get a lot of satisfaction from making plans and realizing them step by step.

What has your professional career looked like so far?
After my vocational training in retail management, I worked for several years at a sign company within the print industry. There I gained experience in direct and foil printing, created print-ready files and assisted in assembly. At the same time, I completed my business management studies at a technical college.
How did you end up at unieketiket.nl?
After my studies, I wanted to try something new. Online, I came across a job posting from unieketiket.nl that piqued my interest, and I decided to apply.
What is your role at unieketiket.nl and what does your day look like?
As New Business Development Manager, I help develop new markets and web shops. My working day is very dynamic: I supervise several projects simultaneously and regularly take on new responsibilities. I coordinate with different departments and external partners to ensure that a new webshop is launched successfully.
What is special to you about your work?
For me in particular, the variety is a big plus. I often get tasks that are completely new to me and have to figure things out from scratch, which is what makes it so interesting. And if everything works out the way you envisioned in the end, it’s enormously satisfying.
… and uniquetiket.com as an employer?
What I appreciate most here is the freedom and confidence I get. It is not a standard nine-to-five job, but a position I enjoy going to every day.
What was or is your highlight so far at uniqueetiket.co.uk?
Picking a specific time is hard, probably the Christmas party or the summer party!
